Owning a yacht is far from a practical proposition, with a high buy-in cost, increasing annual costs and a depreciating asset that remains unused for much of the year. But I, and many others like me, still want one. The fact is; nothing quite says you have made it like casually offering to take a few friends out for a daytrip on your very own yacht.

Fractional ownership is not only a chance for those who could not previously afford a yacht to get a chance to experience the thrill of ownership but similarly for those who would have previously purchased their own vessel they get to invest much less money but in possibly a much bigger yacht.
Although terms, conditions and services vary from company to company generally the annual fee pays for the crew, the maintenance and the management. Everything is done for you including from sourcing insurance quotes and finding crew, to implementing a proactive program of maintenance. All you need do is make the arrangements to roll up and set sail- just picture yourself lounging on deck with an excessively accessorised cocktail whilst a private chef creates culinary masterpieces in the galley.
