Flexjet offers buyers exclusive racing experience
Fractional jet operator Flexjet has teamed up with Thoroughbred racing and auction company Keeneland to offer purchasers of a Flexjet fractional share an exclusive three-day experience at the 2011 Breeders' Cup World Championships in Kentucky.
Known as the Thoroughbred industry's most prestigious championship event, the Breeders' Cup attracts the best racehorses in the world, and is the richest prize-money event in racing, with more than US$26 million in purses.
Additionally, customers will have be offered a unique bourbon experience at the famed Buffalo Trace Distillery. This legendary distillery is noted for winning more than 200 medals and awards, including "Distiller of the Year" by Whisky Magazine and Wine Enthusiast Magazine. Attendees will be escorted on a behind-the-scenes tour through historic warehouses dating back to the early 1900s, while gaining insights into the creation process from a distillery expert.
At the end of each day, guests will stay at 21c Museum Hotel in downtown Louisville. Voted the No. 1 hotel in America by the readers of Conde Nast Traveler in 2009 and 2010, 21c combines world-class contemporary art, dining and hotel experiences. In addition to high-end, in-suite gifts provided by Flexjet and Keeneland throughout the three-night stay, nightly cocktail hours and dinners at award-winning restaurants, complete with special guests, and ground transportation will also be provided.
"After years of designing hand-crafted experiences, our customers now look to Flexjet to provide them with innovative travel and learning opportunities accented with leading experts," said Flexjet president Fred Reid. "This new promotion with Keeneland, the highly regarded leaders of the Thoroughbred business, enables Flexjet to demonstrate its passion for providing expert experiences and even more value to its customers."

Attendees will also benefit from a one-on-one meeting with a celebrity trainer and an insider's look at a renowned horse farm.
