Fractional Ownership News
Latest on Fractional Veyron Ownership
Previously on FL we have covered the fact that you can have a fractional share in a Veyron thanks to the Australia based- The Supercar Club. A recent story in the Australian Daily Telegraph suggests that uptake has been pretty strong and that of the 10 available slots now a mere 2 remain. The lucky 8 apparently including "a potato farmer, a film star and corporate big wigs".
A few interesting points that the article makes is that you will not actually be able to drive this beast on Australian roads due to the Veyron only being available in left-hand drive and so it is not permitted to drive in the right-hand drive market. Once in Australia the car will restricted to use on private roads and race tracks.
So if you are interested then you had better get in quick- not forgetting that none Aussie residents can apply as the car will be based in London initially before moving around Europe- shares are $179,000 plus $9000 a year for two years in running costs and it looks like the Bugatti will be purchased within the next month or so (in a blue-grey colour scheme if that sways your decision!). A sweetner to the deal is that the car will be sold after 2 years and fractional owners are guaranteed a 60% return on their initial investment.
